Problem Statement

One of the biggest deterrents while buying or selling a used car is the hectic process that follows, from finding the best deals , comparing the cars to inspecting the car and the communication with the user.

Possible Solution

A digital solution where the users can sell or buy the car of their choice hassle free, safe and conveniently , and get all the details of the car. The users can place a bid on the vehicle they wish to buy .

Executive Intent

This project is all about helping users buy their desired cars through the process of online auction . Users can browse through all the deals and select the car of their choice . In addition to that they can also get all the details of the car and also an detailed inspection report by a mechanic team .

User Persona

I created two different user personas based on the target users group and all the information

gathered by the research . I was able to create two fictional characters who represent the target

user group.

Leanne drives an old Hyundai I20 her parents

gave her when she was in high school . She

always drives it to her work . She doesn't

have lot of additional expenses and she feels

the need to upgrade her car and sell her car.

Earlier her parents would her with the car now

her parents are old and bed driven , Its not

convenient to ask him about cars.

Sam feels the entire process is hectic and time

DESIGN PHASE

Lo-Fi Wireframing

Once I organised all the insights from the ideation phase. I began to design the app.

To start this process I began to sketch several of main screens. This allowed me to

quickly explore several concepts for the app layout.

My Learnings

It was a fun yet quite challeging experience working on this project, also thanks to all the people who agreed to give me their valuable time for my research. Learnt lot about diversity of opinions which eventually taught me the Importance of User Research

Various new concepts got added to my UX process I learnt all of them during the process, & it added lots of value to the research data I collected. It narrowed down the process a lot.

I Learnt importance about asking appropriate questions to users, to get the correct data.

Also learnt lot of new features and tricks with Adobe xd which can definitely improve my work on the next project I will work on. And can make the process faster in future.

And most importantly I learnt "no design is perfect, there is always improvements

Guide Bot

Adding a guide bot so the first time

users can have a better understanding

of how the app works.

Gamification

Adding points or credits on referring a new

person , these points can be further used for

scheduling the car inspection or Ad boost.

Chat Bot

Adding a customer support chat bot to

interact with users if they need any

help.
